New PP Calibration
Hello, I just bought a new PP V2 and updated with the latest firmware.
I loaded the following data in to the Isaac software:
- rider weight: 73kg
- bike weight: 10 kg
Did the out and back calibration ride. I post here the following ride and would like to know if it is OK.
Best regards.
Thanks.

Re: New PP Calibration
Everything looks fine!
There appears to be a strong headwind on your return leg. Since you did a very long ride, it is entirely possible that wind conditions changed during the ride.

Yes, there was a strong wind on my way back.
I didn´t feel it was that strong during the cal. process, but was concerned it could have messed up things.
Thanks and have a nice weekend.

Re: New PP Calibration
Hi again,
Last week I paired PP to another bike (and sensors), but today when I returned to the first bike the PP didn´t recognize the sensors. I pressed PP after all the sensors were paired with the Garmin and the light was a steady red. Tried it a few more times and the same happened. I had to do another cal ride.
Is this normal?
Thanks.
B
PS - I have the 641 firmware in PP

Re: New PP Calibration
Please do the following:
1) Connect PP to Isaac
2) Go to Edit/Edit Profiles/Extract from Device.
3) Export this profile and post it in the thread
If you are using more than one bike, have you created a separate profile for each? If so, please repeat steps 1 through 3 for the other profile. Please mark clearly which profile is which!

Re: New PP Calibration
Hi again John.
Here is the file.
I would like to change the calibration weight to 83kg. Should I do: Edit profile/ Advanced/ change the weight/Accept/ Send to device?
Best regards.

Re: New PP Calibration
Do you have a separate profile for each bike (for example, bike 1 is profile 1; bike 2 is profile 2)?
If you do not have separate profiles, then you should make them! This way you won't have to recalibrate every time you switch bikes.

Re: New PP Calibration
These are my doubts using the 641 firmware:
1 - Can I do what I mentioned in my last post to change settings in the same profile (ex. if I loose weight);
2 - To add another profile/ bike do I press PP for 4 sec to do an OB ride with the new bike/ sensors and then extract the ride from PP or,
2.1 - Do I previously create a profile using Isaac, send it to PP, do the OB ride and then extract the file?
Thanks.

Re: New PP Calibration
You will use Isaac to set up a new profile:
1) Connect PP to Isaac
2) Go to Device/Device Setup
3) Note the profile that your PP is using currently (probably profile 1)
4) Select a new profile (I suggest profile 2, but any profile is OK)
5) Follow the screens to enter the parameters for bike 2
6) After exiting the profile for bike 2, pair sensors for bike to to PP (MAKE SURE YOU ARE 100 FT AWAY FROM BIKE 1 SENSORS)
7) Do a calibration ride for bike 1
You will now have profile 1 for bike 1, and profile 2 for bike 2. Assuming that you are using different speed sensors for bike 1 and 2, PP will automatically switch between them.
