Bad sensor recognition

Post by OslFl »

As of last couple of months, when switching bikes the PowerPod is not finding/recognising any sensors and does not start measuring power. (Blinks green a couple of times, thereafter all black. All sensors and profiles are saved in my Newton and everything is synked, battery level sufficient.)

Only way to get it started is to hold button in order to start a new calibration ride. So now I've got quite a collection of new calibrations.

Quite annoying having to spend extra time on my daily communte for a calibration ride. (Out and back only option as the non-returning option is useless as for showing anywhere near to correct power.)

Please note: These are tested and working sensors, nothing new added. Previously the PP did manage to tell that I switched bikes.

What has happened?

Press-hold PP button for about 12 seconds. You'll see the light go out momentarily, then turn back on. This does a hard reset.

If the problem persists email technicalsupport@velocomp.com for next steps.
