Understanding Isaac wind speed.

Looking at the speed (wheel/wind) graph in Isaac I've deduced that if wind speed extends above the wheel speed in blue that it is a head wind.

If the wind is blue below the wheel speed line it was a tail/back wind.

I'm confused by the figures at the bottom of the screen. Riding into a head wind it shows Speed 14.1 mi/h, Wind 20.2 mi/h. Blue wind speed graph was above the wheel speed graph.

I know I was riding at 14.1mi/h (wheel speed) into a head wind but it wasn't a 20.2mi/h head wind.

What are these figures telling me?

Do I calculate wind speed as 6.1 mi/h? ie 20.2 - 14.1?

You correctly answered your own question :-)

Ground wind speed is the difference between total wind speed (20.2) and total bike speed (14.1)
