Cadence and power drop out

Post by albafar »

During todays ride it seems in Isaac as if I had a cadence sensor drop out for approx 11 km also resulting in a power drop out. And then it came back.... What puzzles me the most is that in Garmin Connect this drop out does not show. Neither did I notice any continous power drop to zero during the ride which was rather interval intensive. Any explanations/advice?

the files should be compared backwards as the tcx file does not include the first 8-9 km of the PowerPod file.

Yikes...that is unexpected.

I would do a hard reset of your PP--press/hold its button for about 10 seconds, until its light goes out and comes back on. You'll need to use Isaac afterwards to reset date/time.

Hopefully this will fix things.

Well, I did the har reset and todays 2x22 km commuting looked normal again. I will keep you posted if the incident re-appears.
