I am a powerpod user. I have calibrated the device several times and I never get the "true" power on the downs.
I send you the calibration file and some bike ride.
Could you verify if I have something wrong?
Thank you.

Re: Excess power on downhills
If you go into any kind of an aero tuck on downhills, PP will read high. This is one of the characteristics of this device.
You're descending some pretty steep hills; if you let gravity do the work you will go just about as fast, and you won't have to pedal.

Re: Excess power on downhills
when I am descending small inclinations (3-5%) and I am pedaling PP given values are disproportionate.
Re: Excess power on downhills
3-5% is steep enough to cause excess watts if you're in a tuck

Re: Excess power on downhills
okay. Then once analyzed the routes that I have attached you think that the values that the powerpod delivery are correct? or will you need any change in any factor?
Re: Excess power on downhills
thank you very much for your attention
