AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Firstly, the Powerpod is very good, I am happy with it.

Just 2 things I have seen which I am wondering about:

1. Whenever I have removed the Powerpod and replaced it (charging or changing bike), I see huge power numbers for the first part of the ride. Any way to avoid this?
2. When riding in a strong tailwind, the power number are too high - this weekend I was riding at 26mph with a very strong tailwind, I was using almost no effort, but the power was reading 300W. I'm guessing this is because the Powerpod can't read tailwinds as the wind port faces forwards. Is this correct?

1. Make sure you re-attach PowerPod according to the directions. It's angle on the mount needs to be exactly the same, so push gently on its button, so that it rotates in the mount until it hits the stop, then tighten the PP so that it can't rotate. This will reduce your problems at the beginning of the ride

Your ride file shows a LOT of wind--cross winds, tail winds (group ride?) and some headwinds too.

Your calibration seems OK.

I don't think there is anything for you to adjust.
