My powerpod "Effort Speed" analysis consistently shows my road speed is 1.5 to 2 km higher than my effort speed.
All my rides are round trips - some true out-and-backs, but many are circuits that take a different route out vs. back.
I'm usually riding along, and not drafting vehicles or other riders for more than several seconds at a time, and perhaps for a total of 1 minute in a ride of 2 to 3 hours.
The higher the average speed for the ride, the greater the difference between road speed and effort speed.
Is this likely due to CdA being set too low?
