Mount PowerPod on forks

I've just got a new PowerPod for my full-suspension mountain bike and I'm having a little fun trying to get the calibration dialled in. Given what I've read about the position changes induced by suspension travel and the fact that whilst I can lock out my forks but not my rear shock I was wondering about an alternative mount for the PowerPod that may avoid or at least reduce suspension error. If I could fabricate a mount to fix the PowerPod to the non-sprung cross piece that links the forks would that be a sensible place to mount it? Would it also have the effect of helping to reduce errors?

Thanks for any feedback.

You can certainly give it a try! You'll need to perform an out-and-back cal ride to make sure you've got your PP dialed-in.

If you proceed with your idea please post images of your mount!
