AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

First let me know that you are using 'PP' well for 5 months. Compared to fellow riders (using DFPM), they were almost accurate.

However, there has been a problem in the recent 200 km of granfondo. It ran well with a 200W pace up to 42km to climb a big hill. As always in uphill, flat, drafting, PP worked well.

After the supply at 42km (about 12 minutes, PP does not turn off), the power value started to come out strange from the downhill part. But the power at Downhill did not matter much, so I went over. Since then, even when running alone, the power value was almost 100W or less, so I could not run it referring to the power. If you look at the file enlargement, I can see the drop sensor (I am using Giant Combo Sensor) drop, but I have been using it well without any problems so I am wondering why I made a big difference on this day.

Unfortunately, the Giant RideSense sensor does not transmit with a lot of strength.

If you set your smoothing to zero, you'll see a lot of speed dropouts on the downhill, but you will see periodic dropouts throughout your ride, too. You'll find cadence dropouts, too.

My guess is that, on the descent, when you don't pedal your leg is blocking the weak signal of the sensor. It takes some time for PP to re-establish the signal.

We specifically recommend against this sensor (Garmin GSC-10 and Velocomputer sensors are the other ones).

I would get a magnet-less sensor set. Put the speed sensor on your front hub and you won't have this problem again.

Well, I thought I would not be good with the sensor. But until now (5 months) I used it well. There was no significant drop in power after the downhill. My point is the lower power value in the downhill then the overall lower power value. In fact,  He climbed faster than his colleagues using DFPM, but the power was low. I usually get 20-30 watts more power at the same time. I get a little more weight. After the uphill(after 42km) low values were output. As I continued to use it, I immediately noticed that the power value went down after that downhill. So I did not see the power, I just finished the speed. Even when riding in the flat(over 35km/h), the power was reduced to 0-100W.

Anyway, I'm going to change sensor to no magnet. I hope the issue is resolved.
