Recommended sensors - speed & cadence

Post by petrs99 »

Hi, I tried to find it in previous topics, but I could not find anything. Do you have somewhere any recommended sensors, which are the best with PowerPod? I thought that it doesnt matter and anything will work ok, but then I saw that Garmin GSC-10 sensor is not working perfectly.. so I just want to know, if there might be some issues with my current sensors..

Do you have also any experience with this sensor? I have it currently on my bike and it was working ok both ANT+ & BLE - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/ANT-Sen ... 0.0.dtgM9Y

Thank you for any information on that.

If your sensor is working properly with your Garmin then I'd give it a try.

These are very reasonably priced so we've ordered some for our own testing, too!

Hi John, cool, yes they work ok with Garmin and other apps which I am using. Let me know, what you will say after the testing :)

btw. there is also reasonably priced magnetless sensor available - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/MAGENE- ... 0.0.kZzCsz

I do not yet have any experience with this, but I ordered them for MTB (cadence & speed) so we will see.
Cheers, P.

Hi, glad to hear that, so I will continue to use it and be happy. I just wanted to share with others, maybe somebody will use it. I will inform later about the magnetless sensor for MTB. Cheers
