AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I have been using my power pod successfully with a Garmin 500. It finally is on it's last legs. I tried pairing/calibrating the PP with the 520 today. The Garmin recognizes all the sensors and the PP. However, when trying to do the calibration ride it never would show power data. What am I doing wrong?

There is no reason to do a new calibration of PP when switching computer heads.

It's tough to diagnose the problem, based on the information provided. Please describe exactly the steps you took so that we hopefully can help.

First I had to set the gamin up, then I paired it with the heart rate monitor, the cadence sensor, the speed sensor and then the power pod. Prior to riding, I woke up the cadence sensor, the heart rate was working and speed sensor was also showing on the computer. I then held the PP button for 4 secs and got the flashing green light, which after a little bit flashed twice red, then went back to green flash and then solid green. Before starting off I clicked the PP button once, got solid green and started off, no power showing on the computer. I had HR, Speed, Cadence but no power data. I tried multiple times, even held the button for 4 secs and tried riding off with a flashing green. Power would not show up on the Garmin. I also have it set for a 3 second average power. Also, the power pod did record data from my ride, as did the garmin, while attempting to get it paired with the Garmin. But the Garmin never gave me any figures while riding.
I am going to give it another go late today, but I really don't know what else to do. Thanks for your help.

Actually, I think I have found the problem. I think it is in how I set things up on the Garmin. If it still isn't right after I try it out I will let you know. Thanks

Garmin screens can be surprisingly tricky to set up. Let us know how it goes.

The ride today went just fine. I had picked an option I thought was correct but was not. Yeah, I am trying to figure out all the screens with the 520. I have always said you had to be 10% smarter than the devices you are working with, obviously I am behind the curve on this one. Thanks for your support. I know I will be back here with some more questions.
