Recalibration ride using Garmin Edge 520

Hi,

In order to have my data as precise as possible I tried fine tuning my Powerpod by doing the 5min out & back ride calibration. However, the Powerpod just counts to 100w as doing a normal calibration ride and that's it. Is there any specific I can do to make this work?
Futhermore, doing the recalibration I got quite a change in my setup impacting the results significantly. I've pointed out the most significant changes below - is that usual? I´'ve not changed the bike, place of power pod, wheels or anything else..

Tweaked profile after 5min recalibration
Aero: 0,545
Wind Sc. 1,514
CdA: 0,360
Fric: 7,119

Profile after standard 5min calibration:
Aero: 0,360
Wind Sc. 1,000
CdA: 0,360
Fric: 12,485

I've inserted the profiles and a ride using the two different profiles as well...

We need to see the .ibr ride files to do analysis.

The tweaked profile is the one to use. It corrects your wind scaling factor, and the corrected number looks to be very close to factory spec.

Thanks for your quick reply John - I'll use the tweaked one then. I've attached the IBR file for your reference.

But how do I do the out & back ride using the garmin 520? As mentioned it only does a regular 5 min cali ride, so no out and back.?

Thanks
