AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Hi,

Just a question out of curiosity....Why does the BLE/ANT+ pod still relies on ANT+ speed and cadence sensor for collecting data and not just a Bluetooth only speed and cadence sensor? Is it because Bluetooth has a limitation wherein it can only transmit data to one Master and not multiple?

You got it...as you correctly point out, BLE sensors can have only one master. Our fear was that, if we used BLE speed/cadence sensor signals, tech support would be a nightmare if those BLE sensors had already been paired to a smartphone. PP would not work and it wouldn't be its fault...
