Profile 2 is not recording all of ride

I’m having issues with my PowerPod once it’s in the Isaac software on the new Profile 2 (I do have an out front mount) I have set up. Previously I set up Profile 1 and 3 and everything seems to be dialed in and working.

However, when I download my rides with bike 2 (Profile 2); the mileage is always way less than what I actually rode. I have attached three of my last rides with Profile 2:

9/27 - the Issac name file says it was 4 miles, PP recorded 5.83 miles; the actual ride was 26 miles.
10/01 - Issac name file says 8 miles, PP recorded 14.4 miles, actual ride was 44 miles
10/02 - Issac name file says 6 miles, PP recorded 11 miles, actual ride was 39 miles.

After the 9/27 ride I double checked the Garmin speed/cadence sensor; made sure the magnets were perfectly lined up.

I am having the PP send the power numbers to my Garmin 520. It appears the PP is sending power data the entire ride. It also appears the speed/cadence sensor is working the entire ride too.

I was also riding with my Powertap during these three rides; as I wanted to check the PP numbers. It appears the Garmin Fenix is recording the speed/cadence sensor the entire ride also (along with the Powertap).

So, the problem is not with the speed/cadence sensor.

After the 10/01 ride; I did a hard reset on the PP; went ahead and plugged it back in to make sure the correct Profile was selected and the date/time stamp was correct.

I have gone back and looked at some older rides with Profile 1 and 3, all appear to be recording the entire ride and the data matches up with what the Garmin is recording. I have not taken a ride on bike 1 or 3 since I added Profile 2.

I know I should be happy the PP is sending power data; but I do enjoy a lot of the info in Isaac, and geek out ever so slightly with it.

Any ideas on what is going on? The overall power numbers from the PP are about 20 watts higher than what the Powertap says; but I am not sure if this is because the PP is not recording the entire ride.

I can only attach three files; so I attached the PP rides from Isaac. I can upload/send the TCX or other file types if they want to be looked at.

The problem is that your speed/cadence sensor (my guess is that it is a Garmin GSC-10) has a weak transmission capability.

The signal reception by PP is intermittent, causing the short distances.

I recommend you get one of the new magnet less sensors (Garmin or Wahoo) and put the speed sensor on your front hub.

This will correct the problem.
