AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

How do I or is it possible to get HR monitor to connect to powerpod?
I have my garmin ant+/bluetooth strap connected to my garmin 810 but it would be much more useful to have it on issac with the rest of my graphs.I see HR as an option to monitor on the software but Idk how to connect it or know if its connected through powerpod.

I tried to merge it from my garmin connect in the file type issac said was correct but everytime I try to merge it,it says file is unrecognizable or something to the effect.

Wake up your speed, cadence, and HR sensors, then do a Scan with PP (Press-hold PP button for 4 seconds, until it starts flashing).

You will see HR data in subsequent ride files.
