Powerpod wattage delay to garmin 810

Hello
I received my powerpod 3 days ago and it was working fantastic, power would display to my garmin 810 from a dead stop within 1 second of moving.
Then......... I updated firmware to latest version and I have a delay of wattage number from dead stop to pedaling of at minumum a full 5 seconds.Mind you prior to update it was 1 second...
Settings are the same as far as I can tell.Dynamic smoothing is set on powerpod. On garmin its set on straight wattage with no delay or anything.Ive tried changing from dynamic smoothing to 0 seconds and no change. Also while im riding and hitting inclines where wattage goes up it is again delayed much much longer than it was prior to update.I know it wont be insantanious but its way longer then it should be.Ive changed the battery in my garmin speed sensor which wasnt the problem.I moved the sensor from rear hub to front hub and no change. The garmin picks up my speed sensor almost instantly upon spinning te wheel..Im at wits end at what to try next.Is there anyway to go back to an earlier version of firmware to verify its the firmware that did this?It definately changed once I upgraded firmware.Or its very ironic.Im ready to send it back and exchange it at this point.
Thanks for any insight.
