AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Hi
My powerpod is not communicating with the Isaac Software.
I managed to upload some ride data previously but it's not working anymore.
1. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program
2. I've downloaded and the Silicon labs drivers
3. I've done that "tips" as indicated by Isaac
Any ideas?

Ironically, I just logged on to the board for the same reason. I know the USB connection is there because the PP was blinking while charging, but it will not connect to the Isaac software. I will contact support as recommended unless there is another suggestion.

FWIW, I had a similar issue. Red charging light made me think the unit was connected, but the cable (which worked for other devices) somehow wasn't connecting the PPod to Isaac. Finally found a cable that did connect.

I still have to play with the sequence of plugging into the PPod, plugging into the PC, and launching Isaac. Haven't figured out which sequence works best so end of playing with it each time. I have to get smart enough to write it down for myself...

Techsupport had me do a "Hard Reset" - Hold on to power button for 10 - 12 sec...
Didn't work for me - It might for you.

Used a different USB cable (for my Kindle) and it works.

Good to hear that!

I have found on many other devices that all USB cables are not created equal. Some just don't work with some devices. I have no idea why but it has something to do with pin mapping and cross-talk between the wires.
