Has anyone been able to pair PowerPod with another DFPM?

I have two Quarq power meters, a Elsa RS and a Riken AL. I have been trying unsuccessfully over the past few days to pair with either of them but for some reason, PP just won't recognize them. I have tried resetting PP to factory setting multiple times, manually putting the ANT+ ID of the DFPM in Isaac for the profile (as shown below in the screenshot), they just don't work.
The ANT+ ID for the Quarq Riken AL was manually entered in Isaac.

This is the profile for my road bike with a Quarq Elsa RS power meter, which i am unable to pair with PP.

So far, i am able to only get PP to pair with two Garmin speed sensors and the Mio FUSE optical HRM. I was hoping to pair the DFPMs with PP so that PP could get cadence info from the DFPMs because i don't have a separate cadence sensor.

I apologize but I have made a mistake...

PowerPod is not configured so that it can receive DFPM and record signals. It can only transmit them.

No problem. It would be nice for it to capture power data from DFPM for ease of comparison but i can always use the merge file too in Isaac for that.

I have been experiencing this issue also. Further, it seems Isaac will not allow me to merge the DFPM file either. This seems inconsistent with the write up and review on the DC Rainmaker site. Any help?

Please post your PowerPod file and DFPM file that you'd like to merge and we will see if we can help.

The merge function does not work with Garmin FIT file. So you will need to export it as TCX.

I successfully merged two .fit files, but one didn't work. Velocomp reported the file as corrupt, but it uploaded into Golden Cheetah, TrainingPeaks and Strava with no problems. However, when I exported to TCX I could import it into Isaac no problem. So that workaround is fine.

Thanks. That did solve my problem! So if I have got this right: PowerPod does NOT record DFPM data. To use those features in the Isaac software one must separately merge that data with the ibr data. Can one the still use the DFPM data to perform Cda analyses and to fine tune other parameters? I have a couple other questions but I will search for a more appropriate subject. Again thanks for the TCX tip! I think Power Pod and Isaac are potentially a great addition to the training arsenal.

You are correct. PP does not record DFPM. To use DFPM to help fine tune PP, you will need to record the DFPM data separately and then merge that data with the IBR data using Isaac.
