Hi John,
I noticed in this post [ http://ibikeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=9 ... and#p18888 ]
that you mention putting or storing a bike on a mechanic stand may cause an issue.
Can you elaborate? does PP average the sensor readings over storage/immediately before power-on?
Thanks,
Tim
do bike storage conditions impact "start of ride" accuracy?
Re: do bike storage conditions impact "start of ride" accura
I think the answer is if you put your bike in acrepair stand and turn on your ibike that it will assume you are riding and try to adjust the tilt factor. This automatically happens in the first 5 minutes of every ride. So if you start another ride after it has been "adjusted" while in the repair stand that will mean it has a larger issue to resolve when it goes through its start up on the next ride. I think that is what that post is about.

Ronpei is 100% correct.
Your PP will go to sleep after 20 minutes of receiving no speed sensor signals. Once it is asleep it will remain asleep until you click its button to turn it on.
So, as long as PP is asleep you can do whatever you like on your bike stand, without affecting PP at all.
