AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I got Powerpod and try to use it.

but that's not working properly.




I follow your insrtuctions. and I read all of ibikeforum.




Every ride failed use powerpod. when PP working not properly. I cannot see yellow light utill setting factory defaults and re pairing.

when calibrating power digit 1-100W after then it is show me 0-4000W like 5min. and 0W for about 10min. that's again and again.




I checked speed and cadence sensors. and angle of PP (horizon)




I use Edge520 and new garmin sensors.(none magnetic)

I attached picture of my bike computer and PP mounting.

I read that post mounting angle issue. So rerotate my PP parallely.
But still Same thing happning again.....

And there is something different with your post which is angle problem
Your one is os 0-98w loop
in my case 1st time calibrating 1-100w then going 4000w than 5 min looping 0-4000W

Here is what to do:

1) Do a Hard Reset of your PowerPod by press-holding its button for about 12 seconds, CONTINUOUSLY, until its light goes out briefly and turns back on. Release the button.

2) Connect your PowerPod to Isaac

3) Use the "Device/Check online for Firmware Update..." command to load the latest firmware into your PowerPod (6.10)

4) After loading 6.10, go to "Device/Setup/Reset Profile-Device..."

5) In the window that appears, click the button "Reset Profile 1". You will get a confirming message

6) Disconnect your PowerPod from the cable. When you click its button, the light should be solid red, indicating that it is back to its "factory" condition

7) Do a new sensor pairing, then try a 5 minute ride. This should work properly.

8) Please post a ride file from the ride file after your 5 minute ride.

I follow your advise correctly.
I saw solid red light. than new sensor pairing - 5min calibrate - 5min more ride.

after calibrate 0-100W in 5min, power is too high and pile up untill 4000W or less
after 5min ride power appear 0W. as same as previos problem.
nothing changed....

Please email tgore@velocomp.com. It sounds like your PowerPod needs replacement.
