Zero Watt question

First off, I am really enjoying my PowerPod. You know us cyclist, we like to have data to analyze and this being my first power meter, I find it very interesting.
I have my PowerPod synced to my Garmin 510 and I find it takes around 8 seconds for the reading to hit zero after I stop pedaling. For example, when I am coasting to a red light, the power reading will slowly work its way down to zero as oppose to immediately go to zero once I stop pedaling. I have 3 second avg and "real time" power displayed on the Garmin.
Is this normal? I uploaded a ride in case case that helps.
Thanks!
Quentin
