Powerpod rattling internals

Post by Fostex »

Hi John,

I've had my Powerpod for several weeks now and have been using it successfully. The data looks good in comparison to my Powertap.

One thing I noticed when unboxing the Powerpod when it arrived though was that the internals seem to rattle inside it. I am wondering if I should worry about this or if it will potentially affect future operation. I noticed in the Kickstarter campaign that you had a photo of the internals and the battery taped in place with a piece of non-conductive tape. My worry is that if the PCB is rattling about then the air pressure sensor won't be correctly aligned with the side and front port on the casing and air speed sensing will occasionally be incorrect.

I am in Ireland so the Powerpod might have been thrown about a bit by the couriers on it's way to me across the Atlantic!

This should not be a problem but if you see something happen let us know and we will replace it.
