Which data fields work in Garmin 1000 in combination with PP

Post by joost »

On my Garmin 1000 there are a lot of data fields related toPower and Cycling Dynamics. I come across these entries:

Power
Balance (5 different)
Pedal smoothness
Power (many different)
Torque effectiveness

Cycling Dynamics
PCO
PCO Avg
PCO lap
Power phase L (many different)
Power phase R (many different)
Time seated
Time seated lap
Time standing
Time standing lap

Is there someone who already tried which of the above data fields work in Garmin 1000 when connected to the PowerPod?
TIA

Yes, there are a huge number of data fields, and Garmin isn't making it easy for you to pick the important ones.

None of the cycling dynamics fields apply to anything other than their own pedals (surprise!).

Pedal smoothness, power balance and torque effectiveness are more.

The field you want is "Power". Pick the 3 second averaging.

If you have PowerStroke for your PowerPod, then you will get a VERY precise view of pedal smoothness using Isaac software.
