Connecting to multiple head units

Hello,

I have recently received my powerpod and have tested it out. It paired easily but during my ride there were often times I would lose power feed for several seconds and sometimes up to a minute or 2. pressing the pairing button would usually fix the problem.

While riding I did have the powerpod connected to both timex cycle trainer as well as my phone (ipbike and wahoo fitness) to view various readings. Is it possible that having the powerpod connected to multiple units was causing the loss of power recorded? I would love to go out and test again but my area just got hit by a snow storm :( . The trainer mode is working just fine.

On separate note on the device settings on isaac software power smoothing... what exactly does dynamic power smoothing do?

Thank you

this should help

Dynamic Power Smoothing

When you train with power you want your power display to show smooth numbers during long intervals, yet respond instantly to power surges when you sprint. These two, seemingly contradictory demands are perfectly met by Dynamic Power Smoothing, an innovative feature exclusive to FW 5.0.
