Hi,
I've not used my PowerPod for a long time, possibly 2 years, but have a new road bike so I thought Id try and get using again.
I've done a few CALI rides, 3 or 4, but power numbers seemed way high.
I think I've sorted it as it wasn't level on the mount but still the power numbers seem a little high.
I'm 79kg, bike is 8.5kg, with an FTP of 210W, 1.78 tall ride on the hoods on 28mm tyres with butyl inners.
CALI ride is on a flat road other than the first 100m were there's a slight incline and at halfway I had gone round a small roundabout before it counted to 50. I stopped went round the roundabout again before going back along the mainly flat road. Not much wind on this ride, dry and sunny.
The PP after the CALI ride appeared to be displaying reasonably accurate power numbers but after the first ride after the setup and CALI ride it appears a little high for the Watts and lowish speeds.
I've posted both rides and hopefully they can be checked please.
Any further info please ask. Thanks
TonySJ.

Re: CALI ride and 1 after. Is it OK?
Here is how you can check things:
1) Connect your unit to VA. You will see a green box around the USB icon. Open your ride in VA 2) Click on "Laps" in the middle left (which will then be highlighted in blue), then click on the laps you wish to check (in your case there is only one lap). The selected lap(s) will be highlighted in blue
3) Right-click on the selected laps. The numbers will change color from black to white and a new menu will appear. Click on "Check device calibration based on lap "x" (the lap(s) you selected)
4) A new screen will appear with the corrected data. The pointer on the color wheel will indicate how significant the correction is. Click "Accept" in the bottom right corner
5) Your corrected data will now appear. Click the save button if you with to keep the modified ride file
6) Click "Edit/Edit Profiles/Extract from Ride file...". This will extract the corrected profile from your ride file and will be shown and highighted at the top of your downloaded profile window
7). In the bottom left corner of the Edit Profiles screen, check to see that your unit is set to the profile you want (in this example, profile 1; yours may be different)
8). Finally, click the "Send to device" button in the middle right of the window to upload your corrected profile to your unit

Hi John,
Ive triEd what you suggest but my Isaacs version, 5.1.0 , does show any Laps tag only the Power numbers in a box.
Any idea why? as I cant go any further with it at this point.

You need to download and install our new Velocomp Aero software, available here:
https://www.velocompforum.com/viewtopic ... 106&t=6032
All your old Isaac ride files can be opened in VA.
