Hello John,
Noticed on my last 2 rides, the cadence data is missing in several parts of the ride, like i was coasting, but in Garmin Connect, it's all complete. I use the same sensor on all bikes. Battery is fresh.
Thanks, Ken B.

Re: Cadence Data dropping.
I would reset your cadence sensor (remove battery, insert backwards for 1 second, then reinstall properly), and also do a hard reset of your PP (press-hold button for about 12 seconds. Release button after light goes out momentarily, then starts blinking).
After PP reset you'll need to reset time by connecting your device to VA or Isaac.

Re: Cadence Data dropping.
It is likely that the cadence battery is getting low. Replace it. A new battery will measure around 3.3V and when the voltage gets below 3.0, the PP sometimes starts losing the signal.
The Garmin may still show all is well, but the PP will show dropouts or not even find the sensor at all.

Battery had 3.01 v. I installed new battery.

Try a cadence sensor reset: remove battery, install backwards for 1 second, remove and reinsert correctly.Kcblair wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 5:16 pmHello Tom,lorduintah wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 4:43 pm It is likely that the cadence battery is getting low.
