Merging Garmin and PP files

After using the "Analyze Route" function, which corrected elevations and made slight changes to calculated power, I wanted to merge the GPS and Heart Rate data recorded by my Garmin Edge 520 to then upload to Strava. However, using the "Merge GPS ... Another File" with the .fit file from the 520 allowed me to merge distance only. I solved the problem by uploading the .fit file to Strava, then downloading from Strava as a .gpx file, merging that file with my .ibr file, exporting the result from Issac as a .csv, uploading that back up to Strava, and finally deleting the first upload to Strava.
So it worked. But there has to be an easier way! Any suggestions?

Export your Garmin file as a .tcx or .gpx file. These can be imported directly into Isaac.
