Calibration ride: drops or hoods

Good day,

When performing your first calibration ride, ride on the hoods or the drops (assuming my normal riding comprises of a mix of both)..?

Ps: As a new user I tried to use the search function, but using several search terms the website kept coming back I was using to generic words ("calibration", "out and back", "out and back calibration") so no search could be made...

As PowerPod can't differentiate between either you are best to do your calibration ride in the position you ride for most of the time. For me it is on the hoods with elbows bent which I ride probably 99% of the time. If you are in the drops or in more aerodynamic position it will read slightly higher power and vice versa if you are on the tops.
