Help with powerpod set up

Post by tatesanti »

Hi John, I`ve been experiencing some troubles setting up the powerpod with the correct parameters.

It happens that when I analyze certain ride with the check calibration feature, after experiencing low power readings during the ride and inconsistencies in the wind (after downloading the ride in the newton soft), it gives me very high wind scaling values (3.4) in an 1,5 hr out and back ride (with no drafting but some traffic on the way back). The problem is that when I use those values some times it gives extrmely high power values speciall with tail wind.

Can you please check it for me? I post the ibr file and a photograph with the location of the pp in the combo mount. Thanks a lot

I see where you got the 3.4 wind scaling factor. Profile is attached.

I don't see anything wrong with your mount, so that should not be an issue.

Your ride file with this WSF looks solid, though this is a very long ride (1 hour 30 minutes). Remember...when you do a "check calibration" Isaac assumes that wind conditions do not change.

If you want to post another ride file with this profile that is fine.
