PP usb port finicky, drops computer connection repeatedly

My Powerpod's usb connector port seems extremely finicky.

I can hear the Window's usb connect/disconnect alert repeatedly when it's attached to the computer - regardless of the usb port used on computer.

To connect to Issac, I'm obliged to repeatedly try pressing the PP button, change usb ports on computer and closing/opening Isaac. If I'm lucky - it'll connect and the blue usb icon in Isaac will be "active/clickable".

However, even then - If I try to click on "Set up Device" (under "Device"): I get the following Script Errors:
- An error has occured in the script on this page. Line 340 Char 61 Error: Object doesnt support property or method 'create'
- An error has occured in the script on this page. Line 5647 Char 106 Error: Object doesnt support property or method 'create'
- An error has occured in the script on this page. Line 10 Char 9 Error Object doesnt support property or method 'setConfig'.

Windows 8.1
Isaac installed and updated (Version 4.1.0)
FW version 6.21

Please advise.

lots of these on this forum when you search for the lack of connection, and all I see is please email technical support? What is the actual solution?

Maybe it is just me. But I have done that thrice. So either:

[*]emailing has no link to the PowerPod repair.
or, somebody is not interested in replying to the email

Hello

I have two main issues.

First the power meter no longer works. After charging all it does is flash green. It does not find the sensor. Eventually the battery goes flat. I have tried holding the button for 10 seconds to reset, but nothing works.

Next is the files will not download.

Used so many different usb cords, tried reinstalling the software.

Your advice please.

Have sent this before

PowerPod does not successfully connect to download files.

Sometimes the software attempts, but most time it does not.

have used multiple usb cords
have downloaded new software

also, the unit continually blinks either red or green. Only works with the bike sometimes.

Hello

My Power Meter only works sometimes, having considerable trouble to pair and it turns off and on while riding.

Most times the lights will not go out. They either blink red or green until the battery appears to go flat.

The software will no longer connect and download rides. The message box comes up and says it is about to collect files but does nothing.

I have tried downloading the software again and numerous usb cords. Nothing seems to work.

What should I do?

Check your spam folder. I predict there is an email there from Tom.
