Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with my Powerpod:
Everytime when I go out for a ride I experience intermediate "pauses" from the PowerPod. It looks like the powerpod is restarting during the ride, which is causing pauses in the recorded power in my Garmin.
During the ride itself I am suddenly seeing "--W" on my Garmin and then after a few moments (10s till a few minutes) it's back up again and recording power again.
I have tried to analyze the issue along with the Garmin FIT file and the IBike File and I noticed that during those "pauses" the Powerpod is simply not recording anything and is continueing the recording where it has left off. The strange thing is that the IBR File has a smaller distance than the FIT File from the Garmin. It seems that during the "pause" the PP is simply not recording and thus losing those kilometers from the "pause".
I have attached 2 Files: the FIT File as well as the IBR File so you can analyze.
You can see from the Fit File that there is no connection dropout between the Speed/Cadence (Combo) Sensor during the PP "Pause". Therefore I assume it's a PP issue and not a connection issue between the PP and the Garmin, as described already in other threads.
My setup:
Garmin Edge 1000 (Latest Firmware)
Garmin Speed/Cadence Combo Sensor
Garmin => Phone via Bluetooth
PP to Garmin via ANT+ (I have the initial model without BLE)
This is happening every single ride and I have already tried to completely reset the PP and set it up from scratch, but that did not help.
Could you please analyze the issue and let me know what I can do to solve this?

Re: Intermediate PP "pauses"
The problem is your speed/cadence sensor (GSC 10, I suspect). You are getting intermittent speed readings, causing problems with your files.
I strongly recommend you get the new magnet less sensors. Put your speed sensor on your front hub and your problems will disappear.
