Super human power on descent

Post by blp »

I think the reason Peter Sagan seems to struggling a bit this season is that he has caught wind on my AWESOME POWER!

On a ride today, I recorded power reading of 1300W - on a mountain descent. Really? I can't do 1300W of power with a rod of uranium in my jersey pocket.

My wife tells me I'm awesome, bless her heart, but this is not right.

No worries!

Your ride file was automatically post-processed by Isaac software, probably because the "Edit/Preferences/Analysis/Automatically Analyze Route" checkbox was checked. The Auto Analyze function in Isaac can sometimes be helpful, but if you have a properly-calibrated Newton (you do) then it does no good and, in fact, can sometimes cause problems.

I used the "Analyze/Return to Original Download" command to get back to your ride file as recorded. This was the ride data actually recorded by Isaac. I have attached the original ride.

Your Peter Sagan spikes are gone, as they should be...

Uncheck the box in the Preference section to prevent this from happening in the future.

Thanks.

The "Automatically Analyze Route" was indeed checked. Now it's not. I set the "Undo Analysis", and the files, which is the same as the file you returned, looks more like I would expect.
