Powerstoke analyzing a new headset

My well worn headset was challenged by a long rainy ride in the mountains and failed.
The headset had been a little stiff bearing-wise for a year and it is now a pleasure to have the front wheel turn without any effort.
I was curious to see if PowerStroke would detect any increased side-to-side movement now that the bike would freely move so.
To my surprise, my riding efficiency increased - I have a consistent 3+ Watt improvement in my pedal stoke.

Actually, increased friction from the failed bearing would cause you to work harder, increasing any tendency for extraneous motion.
