PowerStroke with Rotor RS4X cranks

Post by erbinker »

I have 172.5mm Rotor RS4X cranks on my road bikes. These cranks reduce the "dead" spot (top and bottom), smoothing out my pedaling action. I am contemplating getting the iBike Newton PowerStroke+ unit. What differences will I see in the PC graphics analysis from normal cranks? Will I still be able to identify my pedaling inefficiencies?

I don't have the rotor but a recumbent trike. I recently got the powerstroke and it does show results as it would for a regular bike. Since the crank sits in the front of a long boom where there can be quiet some flex. The results are still very interesting and the same strenght/weakness does appear as is it does on my 2 race bikes. This is really interesting information still trying to figure out on how to improve my pedal stroke
