Wind Calibration

Hi all,
Big temperature increase in the UK this month and noticed that wind calibration is off, so calibrated it yesterday on my TT profile, but had to run it again on my road bike profile again today, so question is, does the wind scaling have to be done per profile or only once for the unit?
Thanks
Julian

The wind calibration is independent of profiles

ah really John?

Strange that I had to redo it then as I did it the day before, seemed off by about -7 today and got some strange high readings at end of ride which is why i ran the wind calibration again

My observation on this point is that Newton can be a bit finicky to get a good wind cal.

For example, with very still air and careful slow movement of hand and fingers, breathing away from the unit, after cal and a redisplay of the cal function may or may not sit close to zero.

So I always do a 'check' of the cal and if it does not stay at low values centered on zero ideally, I redo the cal and recheck until I get what looks like a 'great' cal. I think this helps. Usually I am good for a long time of not touching it then.
