Trying to correct power readings.

Is there a way to change or zero the power after it's downloaded? My power readings are off due to rain from a race and I don't want the false #'s to skew my WKO #'s when I transfer the file.

I'll gladly take a look at the file and so will a number of other people. Why don't you upload the ride and we'll try to salvage it.

Here's the file. I undid the profile so the #'s weren't quite as bad but still not close to what they should have been. I will say that everything else worked great and also talk to Boyd at the race and he said their might be some kind of fix for rain issues in the future but not sure if or when it might come out. Thanks for taking a look racerfern.

I had something similar happen today (no rain though) and I'm trying to fix the file for WKO upload but I don't know how. Here's the deal: I rode for three hours today, taking a 10 min rest stop to get something to drink. When I got home and downloaded the ride file I see that my iBike Aero HR monitor and Power Tap PM stopped recording after the stop. I guess they fell asleep and needed waking up. I never thought to do that (do a FIND to wake them up) since the screen was ON/ACTIVE the entire time during my stop. Besides, I couldn't tell the Power Tap stopped recording because I was getting Power data on the iBike Aero head unit, albeit iBike Aero Power and NOT Power Tap Power. Anyway, the iBike Aero took over the Power Meter duties after the stop but when I just uploaded the file into WKO it doesn't show any power data after the stop. Is there a way to upload into WKO and have WKO accept the iBike power readings for the second half of the ride? Also, so it doesn't happen again, is there any way to find out if the Power Tap is still ACTIVE after a stop? I should have noticed that the HR monitor was not recording on the iBike display but it was a hard group ride and didn't have time to look down. Thanks a bunch. Rob

Try this, I copied the iAero power data to the DFPM column from the point of failure to the end of the ride.

Fernando..thanks a bunch. How did you do that, so I don't have to bother you again?..should it ever happen again. Cheers Rob

Open the csv file in Excel and look at the DFPM column. Just about 1/2 way down you see where the data disappeared. Now look at the iAero watts column. From the same row copy and paste into the empty or zero section of the DFPM column. Save it as a csv.

Now one last step: Since you saved it in excel, reopen the altered file in iB3 and save it to retain the original and correct iBike formatting. Finally import into WKO. The whole process takes 2 minutes, tops.'

TIP: If you ever get a hiccup with a weird wind, power or tilt reading, you can simply correct the offending cell, save it and then open in iB3.

I recently was at a race and my cadence sensor got messed up during the race so my ibike quit recording watts but it continued recording wind, speed, slope. Is there anyway to fill in the missing data? I will attach the file in case someone wants to take a look at it.

Thanks,
Andre

If you're comfortable opening the file in Excel, take the cadence column and fill it with your average cadence number. Then try recalculating. Something along that line used to work previously and it still might. It's worth a try.

Let me know how you make out.

We're working on this file Andre. It was something that could be done earlier when we needed the compensation for the vibration. Since that is no longer an issue the new iBike 3 software doesn't have this feature. I think Travis is taking a look at this file, he will be the only one that would be able to make the necessary corrections.
