AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Just received my Sport, and went outside after letting the unit normalize at around 36 degrees, to perform a tilt cal, which BTW works well with the Iphone tilt meter, then the O&B ride, and everything was going fine until the LCD started to fade.
So the question is, it accepted the ride, and tilt, wind offset, if the battery is going dead, do I have to redo all this again when replacing the battery?

Next question with the wireless I just received, does the Sport automatically accept the HR and wireless inputs, without calibration? Obviously it may take a couple of month here in Indiana to warm up to get a temperature that the battery will survive in...say nothing for myself.
Just looking forward to the next warmer days to ride outside.

You should not have to do a recalibration when going wireless except for the fact that
you have a different mount and probably a different mounting location or tilt angle.
In other words, yes a recalibration would be in order.

The wireless mount will aid your internal battery with it's own so you will have more
battery life when using your iSport with the wireless mount.

Velocomp recommends, when your battery needs replacing and you have the wireless,
to rotate the battery from the wireless to the iBike (iSport) and place the new battery in
the wireless mount. Then check the voltage to make sure it is up to spec and go.

Also, you probably went for the rear wheel sensor location with the wireless and sometimes
the circumference of front/rear is a few mm different, check that for best accuracy before
doing your new calibration.
