Big variations between two riders in the same race

Been trying to email this query directly via iBike email addresses, but they all bounce....

My question is that my Gen1 produced a fairly different profile to my friends in the same race yesterday. The meters-gained were completely different (and this seems to happen in every ride we do), as mine massively over-reports, and has a very lumpy elevation profile. His profile, on the other hand, has a very smooth (and real) set of elevation numbers, but has fairly wild heart-rate numbers (his max is around 185)

I would love to send you the 2 .csv files, but all of your email addresses are bouncing right now (I have tried all of them).

The weird thing is the analyser has seemed to come out with about the right power numbers for both of us.

I’ve been racing and training with my iBike Pro now for about 16 months, but am a little concerned that I need to revisit older data….
