Temperature and Wind Cal

Hello everyone!

Lately we've been getting some pretty big temperature swings here in Charlotte, NC. I notice that when it's cold the Newton gives me higher pwr numbers. This happened over the weekend so I stopped and checked the Wind Cal and it showed positive 3mph with my hand over the wind port. I performed the wind cal and power was showing normal again. I've read about this issue before but can't seem to find it now. I'm assuming that colder/more dense air has a higher pressure than warmer air. Is this something I should be sure to check before every ride?? I suppose I could keep the Newton in the cold garage but I really hate to do that. What do you guys do??

Thanks for your input!!
