Hi this winter I plan to ride around Florida. Roughly trying to make it to the following cities : Miami, Orlando, Ft Meyers, Key West.
Where I start will pretty much depend on best airline deal I can get to fly over. Direction and other are open and will depend on when my different friends have time to meet me.
The initial plan is Miami -Key West, ferry to FT meyers - Orlando - Miami.
If you have any recommendations or suggestions about routes they would be welcome.

Make sure to stop by in Boca Raton to visit our factory!
Your plan looks reasonable; you can ride south from Miami to Key West.
There are some nice hills in the Orlando area; check out Sugarloaf Mountain--there are a lot of cyclists who ride in that region.
You can stop in Boca on the way back to Miami.

My trip to Florida is getting closer.
The trike is already boxed and ready to fly. Still working on what to take along :food, clothes, camera, ibike, ...
Ibike team expect a tired ibike owner to show up on a black trike anytime between January 22 and January 24
You can follow the progress here :

I will try to post daily updates from the road

Hey, we will be in Boca, just back from a trip to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), where we will be making a very important new product introduction...

Great,
I am really looking forward to meet you guy's. At least I know of 1 place where I will be able to download my ride files (I hope they fit all in there until then, maybe I should take the Ibike of my wife as 2nd memory. easier than to find a place to install the software and download the files)
Maybe you can give me a great trade in on my Ibike ; ))

I have finally completed my ride around Forida.
10 days riding 67 hours 977 miles
If you are interested the log files are attached. I had to 2 different Ibikes to record all the data (they where full at 90% and 40%).

Some day's there are 2 rides files because the Ibike was giving me funny distance riding after a break or so.
The main numbers I watched on this ride was: Distance and Ride time. I would check power from time to time but give the distance to cover I was riding at a pace well below the threshold where I could go on for ever
