Temp readings

Just recently my iaero started showing really high temp. The temp might be 18 to 24 C but the meter will show anything from 20 to 50 C. will this effect my power readings. I know it is not fully accurate and mine is black but I think it is a bit high.

The iBike reports the temperature inside the case, which can be considerably higher than outdoor temperature, 5C-8C higher than ambient. The higher temperature in the case won't affect power readings.
However, if you're seeing really crazy temperatures (50C is about 130F) then that's a good indication that your battery needs replacement. Low batteries will affect power readings.
