iBike display in trainer mode

Post by roadrash »

I have been using the iBike in trainer mode on my new rock and roll trainer. I love it, but how can I change the display so I can see other info like cadence? As it stands, I only see a display that alternates on the bottom between heart beat and time left in the interval.

Anyone in trainer mode yet? I gotta believe there are other display options, but maybe not.

Luckily, I haven't had to take it out of the closet yet, however iIf using intervals, you're limited as to the display. I work around that by using my 705 as the controlling unit for intervals then I can display cadence on the iBike by not going into trainer mode.

I've found cadence to be the most important factor on a trainer so maybe for a future FW release the trainer mode will display cadence and time remaining in the bottom window.

I get Cadence alternating with Heart Rate when I use the trainer. You may have turn the crank and do a scan to get your all your sensors reading.

I just wish the Slope would be zeroed out because when you stand up on the trainer or get up to higher cadence the slope starts showing up as it rocks back and forth over 2%. And the download looks silly as you were on a trainer the whole time.

I'm sorry. I guess when you are in the interval mode you don't have cadence in the current release yet.

I am just following the Spinervals tapes with a the bunch of us in a basement so not using the interval mode.
