Question: Fluid Trainers

Post by iRacing.com »

I have at home a Kinetic Road Machine and have downloaded the trainer model into the iBike, works fine by the way. I want to do some spin classes here at the LBS and they use CycleOps Fluid ^2. There are 4 different ones in the trainer lists. Question is which one is to be downloaded into the iBike? Don't know all that much about the cycleops. Would like to be consistent and have my power numbers for after each class.

Respectfully,
Me!

There is really only one Fluid ^2. The others are power curves supplied by users. I would go with the one that says data: manf. Note that this is a power band somewhat similar to the KK. BTW I use the KK Pro which the iBike works with perfectly.

Then at you first class if someone has a DFPM ask what their watts are at various mph. You can fine tune from there or pick a different power curve.
