Wired Trainer?

I'm considering a wired iBike, and I'd like to use it with my Kurt Kinetic trainer. If I buy the trainer upgrade, and splice a longer wire into the wired mount, this will work? Would this work with Gen II wired units as well?

Yes, if you splice the wire on your wired mount so that it reaches the rear whee,l and if you have the trainer firmware installed, any iBike of any generation will work.
