Were you really pedaling into a 60 mph wind? Do a Wind calibration.

This could be the result of a blocked baro sensor port. Make sure your baro sensor port is not clogged. The baro port is the small hole in the bottom of your Newton case, to the right of your wind port. Don't put anything into the hole, but make sure there is no dirt or water in it.

Also, go into Setup, scroll to "Cal Wind". In a windless spot, click the center button. The top number will drift towards zero. This should correct your problem.

hi, things are not very good with my newton

last ride with wind behind me, i was putting too much watts.

when i was against the wind, newton was showing +- 20khm

when i turned back, it was showing just +-3khm and the watts were to high. (400w)

from 1h:34min - khm 35

to 1h:42min - khm 41

is not possible, i was not giving 100%, and even if i did i could not get an average of 295w for 8 min

Three things:

1) In Edit/Preferences/Analysis, turn off "Automatically Analyze Route". This function is inflating your watts

2) When pedaling on downhills, any small change in ride position, that makes you more aero, will artificially increase watts

3) I used your profile from May 7 for this ride. Your wind speeds are more reasonable.

Profile and corrected ride file are attached. You climbed the hill with about 211W; with corrected profile, and removing automatically analyze, you descended the hill at about 214W.

i will send you cal ride and a TT made after.

Your cal ride looks great.

Your next ride was the following day. For the first 8 minutes your tilt offset was "off". You'll note that after 8 minutes power was correct.

I did an Analyze/Analyze Route to fix the first 8 minutes. Watts are normal.

Make sure, after finishing your bike rides, that you turn your Newton off. If it is left on and your bike wheel spins (for whatever reason) then the tilt offset number can become incorrect.

Hopefully your next ride will be without problems.
