Cold Weather - iBike Freezing

Post by gayeskin »

John,
Over the past couple of days, the weather here in Chicago has been below freezing. I have had zero issues with the iBike freezing until yesterday.

Yesterday morning, i turned on the iBike, turned on my lights and put on my helmet. After i got around the block, I looked down and the screen was frozen. i did a hard reset it worked for a couple of seconds and then froze up. I did another hard reset, it worked for a couple of seconds and froze up. Battery was about 65%.

Yesterday evening, it worked with no problems all the way home. Noted temp was above freezing. I re-charged the battery to 100% that evening.

This morning, same problem. Worked for a second and the froze up. repeated hard resets with same issues. This evening, same problem. Worked for a couple of minutes and froze up. Temps did not get above freezing today.

Any suggestions.

Thanks
Nathan
