Re: newton on rain
Please post your ride file. Also, please post photos of the front of your Newton and also the bottom (where the USB port is).

Re: newton on rain
You have one of the original Newton models. If you do a lot of riding in rainy conditions you should upgrade to Newton 6.

Re: newton on rain
i was racing, couldn´t choose.
i have read in the past, that ibike newton worked in the rain.
just a sugestion, put in the an option on issac to export files without watts. i´m having a lot of trouble doing it.
i whant to calculate HR - TSS IF in wko4

Re: newton on rain
Bruno,
I upgraded my newton to the Newton 6 (it is a body upgrade for a Newton 5 - if you have that). Otherwise the best technical solution for older Newtons is the 'remote wind sensor' which is a hose with collection horn and a back end plug to fit the wind port.
This will block rain from being able to clog the wind port. I had one on my old Newton, worked in the rain.
The Newton 6 body upgrade has also made a non-issue for me. The older Newtons did have some weakness in heavy rain.
There is a repair ride file for blocked wind sensor feature in Isaac you can use too.
Hope this helps,
Russ
