It looks like Apple got the power-sucking problems out of iOS 5 with its new release of iOS 5.1

Spare battery life is back to 1 hour+, with GPS on, bluetooth on, screen at full brightness, running 100% of the time, iPhone 4S.

I will try ios 5.1 and try to compare olso for batteries life on 4S. But at this moment there is no jailbreak for ios 5.1.
