iBike Dash Wiki

Post by aaduarte »

Hello, Is there an iBike Dash Wiki somewhere?
How about implementing one, the forum is the best thing to find answers, but my experience in starting with the iDash is full of basic questions that are taking a lot of work and time to find in the forum search. ( For example: How is the fitness test done?, what the background color of the power means? Can I backup mi app, so i can reset mi iphone? Is there a download or two way connection with the desktop ibike?)

Mi Dash didn't come with anything near to a manual, and with all the fast development of the product is understandable, thats why I think a comunity aided wiki would be very helpfull.

How about implementing one with the help of the Forum administrators. Almost all the information is at developer's pc and at the forums. It doesn't even need to be a official wiki, just a community built one.

What do you think? Do you know a convenient wiki site to start it up?

Thank you mark, i found that manual somewhere.
I've created the wiki in wikia, it has nothing yet, just the name,

Next: the structure:

Hardware
The sensors
The case
The mounting
The iphone/ipod
Software

The app
Backing up

Desktop connection

Links

Etc.

I hope the community gets involved actively.

The Wiki is up :D , anyone can edit it and contribute:
http://ibikedashguide.wikia.com/wiki/IB ... Guide_Wiki

Its super easy to edit, not neccesary to log in, or if you want to log in you can do it with your FB account without the need to register to wikia.

I think it needs a little bit of structure, :ugeek: thats the key.

I hope it meet our needs and that we can bring good info in there.
