AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

How do I get my iBike Dash rides to the iBike 5.0.5 software on my Windows computer. I also have an Aero with the USB adapter. I'd like to get all my iBike rides in one place.

There is no way to connect your iPhone/iTouch to the PC and transfer the files.

So email them to yourself, then on your PC save the iDashxxx.ibd file to your iBike files directory. Now open it with the iBike software.

Thanks for the solution, altho' it seems that a great upgrade for Dash would be a "button" on the iphone/pod iBike app that sent it to an iBike server which forwarded the file to your iBike 5.0.5.

There are apps available that make the iPhone look like a disk drive. This allows you to copy files to/from the iPhone. If the iBike file exists in the correct format on the iPhone, it is a simple drag/drop to your computer while using this. Alternatively, the iBike software could take advantage of this and do the copy - were the proper coding done in the iBike software.

up loaded files are not recognized by ibke program. I have them in the program files but they are grayed out and the program keep saying it needs to connect to a com port for usb connection (which idash doesnt use) Any solutions?

Post one of those files here and we'll have a look.

I figured it out. I hit Open instead of Down
Load new ride and it works fine now
